Once again we have been asked by The Villages Entertainment Department to show off our Z's around Lake Sumter Market Square!
What better way to celebrate our 10 years as a car club than to share our wonderful BMW Z's with the community!
It will be a day filled with beautiful cars great music and friends to share our stories from the road.
Whether you’ve been with us since the first drive or are new to the Club this is an event you won’t want to miss!

Lunch Drive to Tipsy Tarpon Restaurant - Jan 16th
The new year brings new roads new memories and the same passion that fuels our Club. Join us as we begin the 2026 driving season with our first official outing.
Our first Club drive of 2026 is a lunch drive to the Tipsy Tarpon Restaurant in Crystal River on the waterfront......a perfect way to start the new year of fun and exciting drives and events!
Tipsy Tarpon is a vibrant waterfront restaurant that exudes a relaxed beach atmosphere. With its inviting tiki huts and the soothing sound of water it’s the perfect spot for casual dining.
Let’s celebrate the start of another great year behind the wheel with good friends beautiful cars and the open road!

Grandview Clydesdales and Swampy's Bar & Grille - Feb 13th
What majestic animal comes form from Scotland is known for their gentle temperament has feathered legs and stands about six feet tall and weighs over 2000 pounds?
If you guessed a Clydesdale horse.....YOU'RE CORRECT!
We are fortunate to have a world class Clydesdale Horse Farm right here in Dunnellon.....and we are going on a private tour of the facility!
Grandview Clydesdales is one of the most celebrated Clydesdale horse farms in the United States known for its majestic draft horses and rich equestrian heritage. Owned and operated by the Cobb family this iconic farm blends world-class breeding training and showing of Clydesdales with educational hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages.
We will have a guided tour that explores every facet of life on the farm—from breeding and foaling to training champion horses and displaying impressive show-ring achievements. Grandview has enjoyed a legacy of numerous national and world championships.
You will love meeting and learning about these gentle giants up close.
After our equestrian education we will be heading over for some riverside dining at Swampy's Bar & Grille
Overlooking the beautiful Rainbow River from the restaurant deck you can enjoy and understand the inspiration which created Swampy’s. It is the raw beauty of the Florida river swamp with a few extra conveniences added – Swampy’s great food and drink!

Over the past decade our Club has grown into a vibrant community built on a shared passion for BMW Z roadsters memorable drives lasting friendships and countless great moments along the way.
We are moving it to Colony Recreation Center on March 3rd at 7:00pm.
This will be a VERY SPECIAL PARTY! It will be a night of Sweets & Celebration! Decadent dessert treats and drinks will be served up to get us in the mood for the immersive entertainment provided by PETRINA!
But wait.....there's more! Every member that attends will get a free 10th Anniversary Commemorative T-Shirt!And best of all.....there is no cost to attend!
It's our way of saying thank you for being a member of the Best Car Club in The Villages!This anniversary party will be our opportunity to reflect on those memories and to celebrate the people who made them possible....you our members.
So please join us for an evening of celebration camaraderie and fun as we mark ten years of Z Club pride. We hope you’ll be part of this special occasion as we honor our past and look forward to many more miles together.

Charitable Giving Lunch Drive to Ski Beach Bar & Grill - Mar 19th
This will be a first for The Villages BMW Z Club.
To boost our charitable giving activities we are planning our FIRST CHARITABLE GIVING LUNCH DRIVE!
On March 19th we will be dining at Ski Beach Bar and Grill at Venetian Gardens Park on beautiful Lake Harris in Leesburg.
A special scenic drive route will be developed for this event.
The cost to attend is only $10 which goes to the Club's Charitable Giving Fund.
With your help we can elevate our charitable giving to new heights!
This will be a first for The Villages BMW Z Club.

For the past three straight years Mark Simon has put together an overnight drive to Vero Beach to the Riverside Theater to experience some of the best musical theater performances from Broadway.
So LET'S DO IT AGAIN!
The dates are April 22nd and 23rd 2026.
This time it is to see the smash hit 9 to 5 that starred Dolly Parton Jane Fonda Lily Tomlin and Dabney Coleman in the original movie.
The performances sell out a year in advance so Mark had to jump on this quickly.
The trip is limited to the first 40 people signing up and we were only able to put a hold on the 40 tickets only until June 13 2025.
We will be staying at the Spring Hill Suites 5115 Indian River Blvd Vero Beach 32967
We will be dining at Ocean Grill 1050 Beachland Blvd Vero Beach 32963
The next day, we will take a tour of the Piper Airplane Manufacturing Facility to see how Piper aircrafts are built.

On April 29th we went on a lunch drive to Jeremiah’s Restaurant in Mt. Dora.
Jeremiah’s has been family owned and operated since 1984. When you visit Jeremiah’s you’ll instantly feel like part of the family.
Enjoy a beautiful and spirited drive through the countryside on our way to Mount Dora.
We gathered at Soaring Eagle Softball Complex at 12:00pm.
This drive was limited to the first 60 members to sign up.
